It's a rum drink (of course) with pineapple, strawberry, coconut, and banana blended in. My favorite accoutrement is an ornate serving glass, and of course a paper umbrella. Try the recipe I link to and have a little vacation right there on the east coast. Aloha! A Lava Flow is one of those obligatory fruity drinks that the tropics are known for. It's been a couple years since I visited Hawaii, but I still crave these darn things and tell anyone who will listen about them.
