What’s So Special About September 27?
It’s The National Day of Action, in which everyone receives an open invitation to get on board with changing their small corner of the world.

Spearheaded by ServiceAmerica, a coalition of service groups that hopes to convince 100 million Americans to volunteer by 2020, the National Day of Service is a a grassroots attempt to get more than a thousand volunteers in Hawai’i — and millions around the country — to contribute to any one of dozens of local events.

Where Can You Start?
Kanu Hawaii wants to help make Hawaii the #1 state in volunteers per capita and make Hawaii a recognized leader as we strive for national service legislation to become law in 2009.
