Welcome to Fantasy Island, er, I mean Kaua’i

I am Mr. Roarke Jody Reale, your host.
Friends, Readers, and Passersby, it’s the beginning of a new month, and a new week. And in the spirit of new beginnings, I’d like to kick off Kaua’i Week. This week, we’ll be focusing on my favorite island: its history, its features, its quirks, and even a word or two about its shortcomings.
Just to give you a taste of what’s to come this week, keep in mind that Kaua’i isn’t just the quiet little Garden Isle in the Pacific. It’s an ecological and tourism gem, home to some of the most stunning and unique natural landscapes in the world, and the wettest place on the earth. You could argue it’s got it all, with gorgeous beaches, and a canyon just as grand as the one in Arizona (but without all the mules.)
So stay tuned, and tune in all week, to get your week-long dose of Garden Isle love.
